BTW, Pangloss bagged a team and then disappeared. I think I may drop him a PM and make sure all is well (I don't want the team (silver - unless you're going to get clever with A_Cs shiny texturing specular cleverness then I can't see how silver can be given any justice) I'd just like to make sure we actually have a full set on D-Day.

BTW, Cap'n H - what is your plan for all these ships? You started this thread such a long time ago....

Also just realised that Gogz hasn't turned back up since he took away the plans for team Xaospor...

Uhm, well.
I wasn't really planning anything beyond having the skins up for whoever gets round to completing the Racing OXP. I figured since it takes something short of multiple Q-Bomb detonations to get stuff happening, having the teams skinned and waiting for a clever OXPer to write AIs and such would be an incentive for that.

  Having just reread the entire thread to make sure I'm not duplicating sponsors I now realise that was your plan all along!

I worked on the Ayr T and Merthyr T schemes wholly on my main PC which still has a CRT (a nice one), just checked the schemes on my work PC (HP LCD) and they look surprisingly different - a lot of detailing I thought I'd lost when I scaled back down to 512x512 (I usually work at either 1024x1024 or 2048x2048) is actually still there.

Just noticed this compliment! Thank-you very much.

(I'm up to about 7 layers now plus a couple of purpose made brushes for each ship now!!!!)

Still not in the same league as Deepspace and Pangloss and some of Doc's own work was sublime (not much "layering" but superb paint-jobs)

Merthyr Tydfil have secured a new sponsor.

Inera Builders Association - their proprietor AC Clarke is said to be delighted.

Hi folks! :)

After intense negotiations, the board at Janus Corp have at long last given the green light for the new colour scheme.

The first of the racers has just finished drying from the paint shop.

The Krait:

Yes, I've been M.I.A. for some time due to me helping out a family member start a new business. R.L. sucks. :(

Hi Gogz - just noticed your latest ship is missing its traditional numbering...

And Cap'n H is right - eye watering!

I have to admit this is what I thought too, but the top man at J.C. (Hugh) stated that the number was already in the team name (something to do with cost cutting or less expense claims  )
