I had an extra-strange experience right now!

I was launching from a main station, in which I had spent a couple of hours (playtesting, docking, having dinner, ... returning to the computer, launching). No planet in front of me! The planet-sign on the compass not direct forward. I turn in that direction: The planet is visible very small in the distance. I press shift-F and see that I am at coordinates pwm 106774.91 -670817.56 463271.38. A second look tells me that there are 415 objects in the system.



What has happened? Something exploded in the docking bay and pushed the station away while I was docked? The beacon still seems to be at its usual place. But as I am parking in front of the station it doesn't move at all.

Very strange indeed!

You must have forgotten to put the handbrake on and left it in reverse gear

Obviously. By the way, on my way to the planet I met (or should I say: hit?) a fugitive Ixian Battlecruiser moving outward. So perhaps there was a collision. I made sure it won't happen again!
