OOS, anyone?

A while back, Dajt introduced OOS, a way to write Oolite scripts that were more scripting-language-like but had the same limitations as plist scripts. It didn’t catch on, and is now deprecated along with plist scripting.
The question is, has anyone ever used this in an OXP, or would it be reasonable to remove OOS support completely?
