Jesus, I just burst out laughing uncontrollably in the middle of the office. Now everyone is looking at me and I've had to explain what's so funny. Now everyone else is laughing...

Nice find, Ahruman.

Second most famous. City on the Edge of Forever is the most famous.*

It's a travesty. Tribbles is far better.

* I watch far too many Trek Trivia shows...

Erm... When we're at it... I bought meself a trimble and it did nuffin'... I mean nothing... It just purred, didn't multiply, didn't even eat food I bought, didn't wander across the screen... Nu... Nothing... Doctor, what's wrong with it? (ok, what WAS wrong with it, now it's toast anyway)

I got a free tribble with a startrek movie once...a year back or so....
I nagged as long as it took for the shopkeeper to get me a brown one.

...I wonder whut happened to the movie?

The trimble was eaten by my legged trubles with scaly tails by the way.

If this is in fact referring to a trumble in Oolite: They do take some time until they start to appear on the screen and multiply. That's part of their story: First--and for quite a while--they seem to be harmless.
