External Views.oxp

There were some questions in the Discussions-section concerning the external views of Oolite ships, which can be improved. I posted my alteration of the original external views in two topics, but then I realized that it's not that easy.

Ships have different sizes, so to have nice external views to all of them, the view positions have to be adjusted for each of the ships. And that's what I did for all the original ships in the game. I'm publishing these changes now as an OXP.

The externalviews.oxp contains only a Config-folder with a shipdata.plist, into which I just have copied the original shipdata-entrys of all player-ships and then modified their external views.
In the readMe I wrote:
What does it do?

This OXP changes the external views of all the original Oolite-ships by adjusting the viewpoints to the size of the ship. This makes the ships appear smaller on the screen, so you really can see your whole Cobra or Python from the outside, not only part of it.

It also corrects the naming of the external views. They are now correctly numbered from 1 to 8.

Finally the OXP adds two more external views, a Down View and an Up View. These are quite handy for taking screenshots of your ship. Feel free to use this code for your own OXP-ships.

This OXP works with Oolite 1.65 or above.
I wanted to upload it to Oosat2, but there I ran into a problem. The "Add Expansion Pack"-link is missing. Or am I just stupid and don't see it? :? So what shall I do? Can anybody help me out?

Thanks, Dr. Nil! So I was just stupid!

Anyway, I uploaded it now. So we only have to wait for Winston.

I wouldn't say that. It's not that intuitive. As I said, you're not the first to ask. I honestly don't remember if I found out myself or had to be told too.
