Oolite Bulletins

Hi, I'm new to the forums and came becaue I seam to be haveing a problem with the game on my PC and wonderd if anyone could help.

For some reason on certain hi tech worlds I dont seam to be able to bring up the ships for sale useing my F3 key as I can else where.
I dont get any messages telling me there are no ships for sale (that I would understand) but for some reason when this happens and I'm on the equipment lists tapping F3 to get to the ships for sale screen has no effect.

If this is normal then fair enough but it's bugging me that i dont seam able to get access to higher spec ships than my Boa.....

Also, just for referance I dont seam able to add a large cargo bay to my Boa, is this normal?

Its an occasional bug and goes away after a few hyperspace jumps.

Not every ship can be fitted out with every item of equipment, so the large cargo bay cannot be fitted to all ships.

Bugger, just noticed only seams to affect me on tech level 12 Planets too.

If you install the OXPs (from Oosat 1 and 2), then you'll have a much greater variety of ships available (200+). Be warned though, NPCs get the new ships too!

Thanks, I've installed a few, currently I'm useing a rather nice longtail which got me through the constrictor mission without too much hastle, daft thing rushed me headon so I pumped my military lazers stright into it.
