I just discovered Oolite on the net, installed and played it for a while on my pc.
Man this looks absolutely great, I'm playing at 1600x1200 on my 24" LCD and it's smooth.
I played Elite as it came out in 1984 in a BBC Micro (bought one a couple of months ago on ebay to play the original) and Oolite is exactly like it, except, more options and much much nicer graphics.
My compliments to the guys programming Oolite.
Now I just discovered there are expansion-packs...
Need to find out which are best and how it works...
