OXP Ratings

Hmmm.... I might be a bit controversial here, and this is not aimed at any individuals, it's just my perception.
IMHO I've always thought that there is a disproportionate level of interest in ships. Ok it's great to have choice and bling etc, and some of the new ones are excellent, but I would rather see activity and effort put into things like improving the graphics, more missions, sound effects, offensive and defensive equipment etc. nevertheless if you get your rocks off designing ships great, keep it up it's greatly appreciated.
Classic Elite deserves the following it has, we have craved for EliteIV for so long now but who knows if and when it will ever happen. Oolite is plugging that void and many of the new ideas that have been incorporated are superb and fit in brilliantly with the character of the game.
Where I see a problem, is with OXP's that introduce super uber ships, or missions that would blow you away unless you had an Iron Ass, New Ooliters and less experienced commanders need to be selective on which Oxp's to download so perhaps there should be a standardised rating system for OXP's in terms of how they effect the gameplay.
