Wow, i like new huge objects IFF appearance! Will there be planet/star surfaces as well?

Not ATM. Planets/Stars don't show on the scanner.

how about energy-damage spheres from missiles etc?
they could leave a a red or white globe interference/after-image that fades away after a second or two.
