Down at the Numbat Arms hotel,
Things weren't going all too well,
Some self-selected,
But the educated rejected,
Their oft-quoted fake Latin spell!

"Quenda, quokka, quoll"?
Is this fella just trying to troll?
That's not a real Latin motto,
And quokkas are only on Rotto,
Where snap-happy tourists stroll!

In the heart of the bush, where the wildflowers bloom,
Three charming creatures dispel all the gloom.
With a hop and a skip, they dance through the night,
Quenda, Quokka, and Quoll, a delightful sight.

Quenda, the bandicoot, with a nose to the ground,
Foraging softly, where treasures abound.
With fur of soft brown and a curious gaze,
In the underbrush shadows, it weaves through the maze.

Quokka, the cutie, with a smile so wide,
A bundle of joy, with nothing to hide.
On Rottnest Island, it frolics with glee,
A selfie sensation, as happy as can be.

Quoll, the nocturnal, with spots like the stars,
A hunter of secrets, beneath moonlit bars.
With a flick of its tail and a glint in its eye,
It prowls through the night, as the shadows slip by.

Together they roam, in the twilight's embrace,
Each with a story, each with a place.
In the tapestry woven of nature's own thread,
Quenda, Quokka, and Quoll, where magic is spread.

So here’s to the trio, in their wild, wondrous land,
With paws on the earth and hearts that expand.
May they thrive in the wild, forever to play,
Quenda, Quokka, and Quoll, brightening the day.
