Problem with descriptions.plist file

Hi everyone. I'm new to the forum so I'm not sure if this is the right section for a similar topic.
I was starting to take my first steps in Oolite, since the project is very customizable I was creating an Italian translation for the game, just to enjoy it better.
But even if i edit the descriptions file, the changes don't seem to apply.
Is there some kind of procedure to follow in these cases?

The file you are modifying is cached, that's why you don't see your changes applied.
To force a cache rebuild, hold Shift down while the game is starting up. Your changes will be applied then.

there is another way? i try to hold shift but the game go too fast and i can't make it

i made it. just delete the file in Oolite\oolite.app\GNUstep\Library\Caches\org.aegidian.oolite

I was born in Sicily but at the moment I am in Emilia Romagna.
I didn't expect there to already be an Italian translation. (Buono dai, una fatica in meno)

Another_commander created it - but it’s for older versions of Oolite. Not too sure how well it works with the current versions (I had issues with it on my AppleMac with 1.88)
