All this talk of multiplayer is making me very wet and sticky!...
I think there should be A co-operative Mp game maybe just for a LAN for 8-16 player however many can be done. With in game chat you should be able to co-ordinate yourselves well enough. Some sort of group Jump thing could be implemented so you can all group and jump to the same places together. That way if you have a mis-jump then all of you do, and you would all be able to take on the thargoids! Just my thoughts dont know if this would be possible, but i'm sure many hours of fun could be had!

Well, as for jumping as a group, that's already handled, as far as I am concerned - When you jump, you open a wormhole in the system which you are leaving, which anyone else can go through simply by flying into it. (Go ahead! Try it!) However, I do not know if it already exists for the player ship to leave the same wormhole, but I can't imagine it being difficult to implement.

I'm personally not going to comment too much on the multiplayer stuff, as it's been hashed out on so many other threads.
