I changed the way the face lift OXP adds the external dock. I was previously using the world event "systemWIllRepopulate", which takes place around 20 seconds after the system has finished populating. What I'm now doing is using the systemWillPopulate world event, but giving it a much lower piority than the actual space bar spawning script. So, this guarantees the external dock will be added during system population, but after the space bar.

That goes some way to explaining the apparently random nature of the fault to a furry penguin puppet.

I raise my glass to you, Sir!

I’ll get the manager updated shortly. Phew! Glad that fix worked. I was running out of ideas!

Mr Flibble hails from a planet with an ancient love of sit-coms... but not that ancient.

He might tell you about it, if the king of the potatoe people lets him of course.

These might be.

While I go to the (un)Natural History Museum to get myself re-classified, someone else had better tell the Linus that his kernel mascot might not be what he'd hoped.

Pending the lab results, these points provide hope that Tux and I remain penguin:
  • Comedy penguins don't look anything like natural penguins.
  • There aren't many comedy puffins, possibly 'cos most folk would assume them to be penguins.

<chortles> So Tux is really a puffin? <wanders away, singing Puff, the Magic Dragon>
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Additionally there ARE penguins with yellow/orange beaks and even yellow/orange feet.

e.g.Gentoo Penguin

As for the goggley eyes, sightings remain largely anecdotal.

I did notice that one when I was trying to identify the flibble, but the puffin looked much more like it. It was the shape of the beak which clinched it for Araminta and I. The penguin beak just failed to convince, especially compared to Mr F's glorious nasal girth.

Could you have been perhaps swayed by the association with his Uncle Arnie, otherwise known as his flared nostrilness?

Also note the distinct vertical orientation og the puffin's beak and how markedly different it is to the no less distinct horizontal alignment of Mr. F's.

Argumentative?... Me?
