Is there a way to remove the version info in the upper right of 1.91? It interferes with the MFDs along the top.

Yes, download the file OoliteInstall-1.91.0.7563-231127-1893367-win-test.exe and install that instead of the equivalent file ending with -win-dev.exe.

The two versions are exactly the same, their only difference being the watermark in the -dev.exe version.

Neat. Last time this was brought up all sorts of hex editing of the Source Code was required to remove the watermark.

There are three nightly versions listed. A Development version (-dev), a Test version (-test), and another with neither of these appendages to its name. What does this third one do? My guess is that it does not have any of the Development tools (Console, etc.) included and does not have the watermark. Can someone in the know please confirm or deny my suspicions before any update from v1.90 occurs on my end. Thank You in advance, all of these innovations are much appreciated.

Your guess is correct. The version without any suffixes is the one that cannot connect to the Debug Console, does not have any of the debug or testing tools of the other two, does not have oxp verifier functionality, does not have TAF controls etc. It is intended for end-users only, who have no intention of messing around with OXP creation and such.

AC is dead right, I'll just put it in additive logic. Historically there were two kinds of releases. One for end users, one for OXP developers. And on top there were nightly builds meant for developers hacking the core game. As all versions get now built on every occasion you can see them in parallel:

no addition:for end users
-test: with development tools for OXP creation
-dev: with development tools for OXP and watermark

Since we haven't had a release in quite some time all these builds are marked as prerelease. To distinguish one from the other they all come with the full version number, even if they don't shout it out via watermarks.

Upgraded from v1.90 to the latest end user v1.91 a few days ago and have found several worlds of difference. There was a very brief learning curve in getting a few things transferred around and backed up. Getting the .GNUstepDefaults file squared away also took a slight bit of time but that mostly involved removing variables that were no longer needed. The visual improvements are outstanding. The additional keyboard options are incredible. No longer is there a need to hop between a myriad of M.F.D.'s or scroll through a very long Primable Equipment List in order to get things done. Everything now has its own key or key combo to access its functionality. Fourteen actions were moved to my keyboard's numpad and two buttons on my joystick were remapped as their previous functions were no longer needed. Do the upgrade if you can, it is well worth it.

A Great Job by all involved. Thank You for your Time and Effort. It is much Appreciated.
