... I've just started playing, the readme is quite informative, except when I hyperdrive to a new planet I can't find the spacestation to dock with. I can only find the navigation becon. What am I doing wrong?

When you arrive to a new system, you must head towards the planet and keep an eye on the space around it. The space station will be visible on the orbit when you get closer...

Although, if you are only beginning, you may face pirates and other bad elements on the way, making your life a bit hard...

Also, you want to get the little green dot into the middle of the circular compass. Press J when your scanner is clear to speed things up a tad too.
