M for missile

In reading another thread about how the multiple targeting system works, I had an idea.

Currently, with the MTS, you can select missiles in turn and lock them onto different (or the same) targets. But to fire them off, you have to rotate through again and press 'M' for each missile.

Do people feel it would be better, when using this bit of kit, that one press of M fires ALL targeted missiles?

Is that 'm' or 'M' (shift+'m')? It'd be good to have a choice, yes?

Doh! Giles cuts through the nonsense once again.

Yes, using <shift> m would be great. That way, the original behaviour is retained, and the new behaviour is there if you want it.

Agreed, SHIFT+M safer - I mean imagine if you have a innocent party locked in amongst a group.

Right, well I won't do it for v1.65 - that's in strict bug-fixing mode for now. But I'll try to include this in v1.66.

This could have a rather nasty side effect if one of your targets hits the ECM while the missiles are still closely grouped near your ship...

Well that's the risk ya take! No one said space was safe.
