Im sure this has been discussed somewhere before.

It is difficult to read the console popup messages when getting blasted, so usually the info on damaged equimpment is lost on me. The ~ key does not re-print this info and the damaged eq is removed from the list under 5...

It would be much more informative to have it greyed out or in red when damaged/destroyed.
If destroyed one could be required to pay for removal as with the passenger berths.

it has been, and there is even an unofficial version out there that has this AND highlighted cargo.

Giles never got round to making it official though and I can't remember who it was that did the hack.

Wondering if this ever came about. Cmdr Drayton did an unofficial hack version (see this thread: https://bb.oolite.space/viewtopic.php?t=2445).

This would be really cool and very helpful.
