SOLVED: Seemingly bogus complaint about missing manifest file

Post by UK_Eliter »

Dear all

I am seeing,
[oxz.manager.error]: Downloaded OXZ does not contain a manifest.plist, has been left in C:\Oolite/oolite.app/GNUstep/Library/Caches/org.aegidian.oolite/Oolite-download.oxz
Yet, the archive in question - in the version extracted from that path - does seem to contain a manifest file.

The whole archive is here on Box.

Can anyone help? I'm probably doing something silly unwittingly. Its Windows (10) that I'm doing all this on.

EDITED

I've worked it out. Let me leave this post up, and add an explanation. Perhaps thereby I can stop others falling into the same trap. I was doing one thing wrong. Here is it. At the top level of the OXZ archive, I had a directory; that directory contained all the files (the manifest, the 'Scripts' directory, etc.) But those files should not be within a directory. They should be within the top level of the OXZ. In short: I had my stuff nested within the archive.
