In my galactic chart there is an icon I cannot explain from the information given in
http://wiki.alioth.net/index.php/F6_pag ... t_%221%22):

What is the green square on Raleen meant to be?

Ohh -- yes
I wanted to ask that too.

It usually means that there is some sort of event waiting for you at that location. It could be a mission based event, it could be a Giant Space Pizza, it all depends on what OXZs you have installed. These symbols vary depending on what their creators decided to use when creating the OXZ. It could be a green square or a red diamond or a blue circle or... you get the idea. Pop on over there and see what the attraction might be.

Hi
i think that this should be communicated in the WIKI
for a new/poor/weak-armed pilot -- it's a great decision
to go far away from the milkrun, he's just doing
- without seeing the sense of that.

It can also be player-selected, to mark a particular system for some reason. Go F6/F6 Find Planet/enter planet name - that will put the green square on it, then select a different target system with mouse or cursor keys, and the green square will remain where it was.

Hi Cody
It can also be player-selected, to mark a particular system for some reason. ..........
This makes a better explanation only more necessary.

So, the wiki page and the list were mine, because I'd seen very little on the subject, and wanted to provide some sort of guide.
If you provide us with a list of which oxp's you have loaded, that might help narrow down the culprit.
The list might be easiest provided from your
latest.log

Tricks of the trade, Master Fjordster! By rights, that green square should probably be known as Cody's Square. Back in the mists of time, it was disappeared during an upgrade to the F6 charts (if memory serves). I seemed to be the only one who used it for marking systems, and had to lobby the devs to reinstate it (which took a little explaining). I use it mainly to mark a system where there's a particularly handy rock hermit (or somesuch thing), even though it may be off my planned course. Easily forgotten, but when marked thusly, never missed.

Hi Cholmondely
..thats no critism of your (great ) work!!!!!
i have seen what you are doing ( here should be a "respect" smily )
If you provide us with a list of which oxp's you have loaded, that might help narrow down the culprit.
i don 't think, that my list would help very much - its has changed meanwhile very often.
as i see there two possibilities for the markers
- self done
? how can i do this
- oxp done
? what could be the meaning
( maybe it is enough to tell, that there could be a oxp-mission ) *)
*) without knowing that - i have looked into the press to get any hints....

Is that a feature or a side effect? It does not sound meaningful...

I believe that is a straightforward and sufficient update to the documentation.

I'm stumped!
If it's not a random mission generated by The Collector (if it actually is capable of that sort of thing) or the vanilla game code for missions (which you would know about), I don't see anything there.
Unless you have other oxp's in your AddOns folder. But if that is from your latest.log, they will have been included.
Maybe your computer is trying to tell you something about Raleen? Flog you an antique crossbow? Or a nice chewy tree-grub?
Looks as though it must be Cody's square!
I'll add it to the wiki.
