Well, this is what I get in a base game with glare clarifier and that extra "No Flare" oxz, after starting a new game a launching from Lave:

A lot closer to the sun:

I have already checked this. Here. I thought "Glare Filter OXZ" was different than "GlareClarifier.oxz".

Best of the worst by far. Nevertheless, I still think it looked best on the older versions of Oolite.

Those screenshots would suggest you don’t have Glare Clarifier installed. Can you post a copy of your latest.log file so I can check if anything else is conflicting?

No, I didn't have two add-ons installed at the same time. My guess is this will work, but "fixing" this strange glow looks like:
