Oolite Bulletins

i have installed an oxp through the in game manager and after i pressed "return to menu apply changes" it got frozen so i pressed shift-escape and now the game wont start... it shows the oolite icon but then it disappears and nothing else happens.
i use windows 10 and running the game from a usb stick.i have the latest version of the game.
any ideas?

Hi and welocme. Can you please do a restart while holding Shift down all the way to the crash and then post the file oolite.app/Logs/Latest.log here?

Also, which OXP was the one you installed and started this? Do you remember its title?

i cant remember the title but i remember it was an oxp thet categorise ships and equipment by size and such.

i found the oxp its called "Equipment by Ship Class".
i might have installed other oxps but i cant remember.

OK, this is a known issue that has been fixed in the 1.91 development version. It is actually the only known bug in 1.90 and it is triggered specifically by the Equipment by Ship Class OXP. To restore your game to a working condition, do this:
1. Using Explorer or command prompt, go to the folder G:\space/Oolite/oolite.app/GNUstep/Library/ApplicationSupport/Oolite/ManagedAddOns
2. Delete the file oolite.oxp.redspear.equipment_by_ship_class.oxz.
3. Try restarting the game with Shift held down.

I also note that you are using the 32-bit version of the game when you are running 64-bit Windows. Is there any specific reason for that? Not directly related to your problem, but with the amount of expansions you are running, you are probably better off with the 64-bit version of the game, which has no memory limitations like the 32-bit one does. Anyway, hope the above advice works for you.

it worked thanks!

as i said before i am running the game from a usb drive.i do this beacuse i dont have a personal pc so i play on others pc's when i get the chance. some of these pc's have 32 bit os so i figured its better to use a 32 bit game on 64 bit os then vice versa.
