Oolite Bulletins

Hi, all. I've been loving the missions in the "To Catch a Thargoid" oxp but I've come to a grinding halt and I'm not sure whether I'm just looking in the wrong places or I've bungled the mission somehow.

I'm at the stage where I have gathered several bundles of... "intel" and have delivered them to a certain distant installation for analysis.

Now that an imminent threat to said installation has been announced, I zoomed back to civilisation to head off the threat and eventually found three warships in the space lane. A bit of military bug spray later, they were extinguished.

Now what? My mission status on the ship manifest has not changed and surely that wasn't the big threat alluded to!

I have hung around witchpoint beacon for ages and nothing appeared. I have camped out by the installation and nothing has arrived to start trouble.

Is this a waiting game? Or should I be patrolling from witchpoint to threatened location? Or have I missed the point somehow?

Please help!

Welcome aboard, Commander! Can't help (I don't do OXP missions), but hopefully someone will be along shortly who can.

Head back to the station you launched from. Dock with it if nothing else presents itself. Updates should then be forthcoming.

Reading the missiontext.plist inside a Mission OXP/OXZ will give you some idea of what to do next should you get stuck during a mission. The tricky part is to not read too far in advance of your current status within the mission so as to avoid spoilers.
