Just in case these slipped through the net!

1) Marooned in the F2 Options screen!

The only shown exit from this screen is that of "End Game and Return to Menu"

It would be very helpful to give the New Player with poor English a little reminder on that screen that one either

1) needs to unpause one's game to return to it!

or

2) needs to press another of the F1-F8 buttons to enable another option while docked.

For example, one could simply add text such as the following:
To return to your paused game, simply press ‘p’.
To return to your docked spacecraft, simply press F3-F8 as appropriate.

Whilst some .oxps go some way to resolving the issue, a new player is unlikely to have added them to the vanilla game.

It certainly confused me when I began with Oolite 3 months ago - and has tripped several others up too.

I'm unsure whether the following belongs here, if not please tell me where to bung it!

The following ships are all part of the Liners.OXP, my guess is that a copy&past happened here. However, following my personal judgment I corrected them according to the Oolite available choices. It probably would make sense to create a new class, these liners are out of the ordinary.

Aurora Galaxy Liner - Heavy Transport
Cruise Security Vessel - Medium Fighter (Sidewinder-X)
Cruise Ship ‘Ronald’ - Heavy Transport
Diamond Class Shuttle - Medium Transport
Emerald Class Liner - Heavy Transport
Inter-system ferry - Medium Transport
Jade Class RunAbout - Light Transport
Lifeboat - Evacuation-ship
Tigershark - Heavy Transport/Freighter

It must be possible to add 'liners' as both a master-category and a sub-category.

The Strict Game's F4 "View Ship Specifications" has just 5 master-categories.
1) Installations (Orbital Station & Mining Installation)
2) Miscellaneous (4 sub-categories)
3) Ships (as above)
4) Thargoid Ships (2 sub-categories)
5) Weapons (2 sub-categories).

My regular game's F4 "View Ship Specifications" has lost the orbital station designation for the variant orbital stations.
And, it has added Alt Stations and the Imperial AstroFactory as master-categories 6) & 7) which both use the "Station" sub-category which does not exist in the strict version.

Not being an acolyte - like yourself - in the arts of grammarie, I can't tell you how. Apologies!

Cholmondeley.

Entries to the library are assigned by OXP's, using Shiplibrary.plist and yes, you can create your own category or sub-category there. However, this task would be up to the author or the person maintaining the particular OXP.
