New ship: Any one able to make it?

Panther Clipper
from the 2nd gen PC game Elite, my favourite ship seems missing from here. Anyone able to make it?

Big ships don't work terrifically well with game balance (which seems to be why it's not in E:D either...)
Here's a thread on the Andromeda OXP for instance - give that a try. If you like it, re-skining it to look like a Panther Clipper should be pretty easy...

You should also download BigShips OXP which adds the concept of huge trader ships into gameplay, so you may then also see a Panther appear as an NPC

I was mainly after the gun turret idea, so I can keep going forward but still fight the baddies.. I was quite successful in the previous game with this method. I enjoy trading and stuff, combat is not my bag and the keyboard/mouse combo isn't easy for my lack of dexterity.
a question - is there a way to slow the ship movement on screen when using the keys / arrow keys?

Try pressing the Ctrl key while using the flight keys.

There are several player ship versions with turrets,

viewtopic.php?f=4&t=10842 for example offer a lot turrets and decent cargo space.

With a quick search I found two different panther clippers, they are expensive and an acquired taste...

Some more ships I obviously missed, thanks cbr. Personally I like the Predator (after some tweaking) and the Lifter the most.
