I was looking for something to speed up gameplay a little. I don't get much free time so to spend most of it trying to get to the station while under masslock gets a little boring quickly. Any oxps that would speed up the wait?

Give VARIABLE MASSLOCK or MASSLOCK COMPENSATOR a try. Fuel Injectors also help to rocket past those pesky Masslocks if you do not mind spending the Witchspace Fuel. Changing your approach angle to the ship(s) that are putting you in a Masslock is also a viable strategy. Instead of coming at them head on try getting them to the sides of your Scanner where they will take less time to pass you by.

Thanks for the links. I had tried Masslock compensator before but was having problems with it.
I had not seen Variable masslock so I will give it a try

I would also suggest Telescope (and update it to max) - it would not speed your masslocks, but would help you to see them and maybe avoid them. And would give you good look inside the game and structure of universe, so you could avoid most of masslocks even it Strict play - by just knowing, what to expect and what to do
