You don't find ads annoying enough in their present state. No, animated gifs won't work. Animations are possible to some extent as can be seen on constores, but they require too much work to my taste.

I would like to see what the ads would look like, if you replaced the control panel thingy on the bottom with something like a "Galactic Cooperative Department of Justice" or something. Think of ads on a webpage or on a screen, so no need for a frame with lights and panels.
