You're behind the times, sir
A much updated ruin
From a much outdated style
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Nick Drake was a really sad guy! He overdosed on anti-depressants back in the seventies. John Martyn's Solid Air was dedicated to him.

You're behind the times, sir
The way the times are now, I would think that anybody who can stay well clear of them is doing far better than the rest of us. And if the times do indeed end up getting worse (China and Russia getting nastier, USA getting nuttier, famine, war and plague spreading like billy-oh, climate going up the spout, inflation clobbering the poor... ) behind is definitely the place to be...

I take your point, but in this case I think we're looking at the difference between 2012 and 2013.

Yes, a dark girlfriend many years ago established that utterly depressing context. We were only just talking about beautiful fertile planets!

Yeah... and Povray Planets are lovely. Talking about cloud cover (upthread): I've got a planetinfo.plist somewhere in which I've zeroed the cloud cover for all 191 Povray gas giants. That might only apply to the original Povray set though.

Higher up this thread, here.

Both downloads are also now linked to the Povray Planets wiki page (see under Tweaks).

Thanks Cholly - that planetinfo.plist only removes clouds from Povray gas giants. I've amended the Wiki accordingly. What would be the boffin's way of doing it? Simply list all 191 planet numbers and apply the key cloud_alpha = 0.0; somewhere?
