OXP - update station markets

Hi!

Why don't update station markets: Dictators, Anarchies, Comms, etc. addons?
This is deny of GalCop policy or author of OXP don't have time(or intent) for update of market scripts?

Market worked in Spicy hermits, Kiota Station, Constore, Space Bars, Free Trade Zone, Rescue Stations, Behemoth ...

Is there a need to upgrade the market in addons (Dictators, Anarchies, Comms, Feudal States)?

Some markets don't work because of an incompatibility introduced in 1.82, and the effected OXPs haven't be updated.

Many were fixed, but some were not because they have no license statement, I think. People here are very respectful of the works of others, so they won't touch those OXPs without the original author's consent. Furthermore, those who could do it typically also use the often little spare time they have to work on their own projects, and they already have to split this time between playing and testing their work because they want to offer quality OXPs.

So the best we have for now is to tell how to fix them for yourself.

Alternatively, people are trying to make the existing markets more interesting. Checkout for instance Spara's market cooldown or my Random market quantities (sorry, it's not yet available from the manager - I'm still tweaking it).

- define the market size.
- allegiance.

You can buy cheap computers from hackers now.

I have a friend that I know is a part of Anonymous, and the computer at his desk is this huge, insanely powerful thing that looks like it cost more than my truck, and requires a small nuclear reactor to run. And he'll likely sell it on craigslist for a song when he's ready to build another even more powerful.

Yes, they selling old computers. They are good guys, help in difficult times, their work is done safely. They say that it would be useful positronic AIs, cryptographic processors and quantum processors to update cluster of AI for clearing status of troubled clients.

I was busy, so that transported the NavCon electronics, sometime I will look for them item in the galaxy for a good price.

Thanks for the sharing.

As for the properties you ask about, both will use sane default values if not given.
For market quantities, it is best not to override it unless you have a good reason to do so (like what Constores do); some OXP (like my random market) may change them.
For station allegiance, it's slightly different because the game will try to guess it if not provided, so I think it's best to be explicit in this case.
