As i was trying to get my ship_trade_in_factor (aka service level) up to 100 i experienced that it always risen up to the same level at the same station (reloaded state and tried again).

When i tried at another station it was the same. So far as i tested a maintenance overhaul on a TL7 station seems to increase the service level always by 11 while a maintenance overhaul on a TL10 station seems to increase the service level always by 14.

In tried it a few times, every time with the same result, so i think the increment is not random. Before i waste more time finding out if i am right i decided to ask if other players made the same experience. Did someone?

Yes, the higher the system TL, the better the service quality is. Basically, this is due to them having better diagnostic equipment, better tools and parts, and better trained technicians. Hence why we routinely advise getting your ship serviced at the highest TL system you can, immediately before buying a new ship.
