Hello,
Thank you for creating Oolite. I'm enjoying it.
I'm looking for version 1.83 for windows. I tried looking through the forums but didn't find it. Could you direct me there?
Thanks

Hi and welcome.
Version 1.83 refers to the current development master branch. Even version numbers (1.80, 1.82 etc) are the stable released builds that you can find at
http://www.oolite.org, and odd version numbers like 1.81, 1.83 etc., are the bleeding edge builds. So be aware that, even though at this moment 1.83 is quite stable, with it being a development version and all, things can change from one day to the next and there are no stability guarantees. For the same reasons, it also changes very frequently and will continue to do so until it is deemed feature complete and stable enough to become v1.84.
With all this in mind, the latest v1.83 dev build is always available from
http://terrastorage.no-ip.info/oolite/status.html. Make backups of your savefiles before using this version.

As things currently stand... what are the main changes between v1.82 and v1.83?

Don't be confused by "changes between 1.82 and 1.84" at the top of the doc - it is just so that we will be ready when the time for next release comes and since 1.83 is not planned as an official release anyway.
To the changes listed, we can also add the ability to copy to clipboard the url of an oxz from the oxz info page (currently Win only).
