How do you trigger off the cloaking device mission? I have done it before by flying to a fuedal planet a few times then going elsewhere. But I have not found a fuedal planet in galaxy 5. And if I haven't completely mucked this up, is it still carried by an ASP with 2 other ASPs on your tail?

I noticed that when I accepted a bizarre passenger contract in this galaxy that I found it impossible to complete and I think I need the cloaking device to do so.

I guess I need a few clues. :/

Hi, and welcome... my memory is vague, as it was years ago, but the first few posts here may help.

Moved to discussion. The cloaking mission triggers if you are on Galaxy 5 and have not met (and killed) the cloaked Asp before and have executed at least six jumps in said galaxy. Feudal systems don't have anything to do with the trigger of this mission.

Ignore what the other thread says about the cloaking device being non-repairable - that's been changed, but I think it's only fixable at TL15 worlds.
