As you must have seen by now the amazing space ranger David Bowie has died of cancer at 69 years old.

He was the man who's music first flew me to the stars when playing Elite on the Amiga.

Space Oddity, Starman and Rock & Roll Suicide are just a few great tracks that spring to mind.

He was Major Tom, he was Ziggy Stardust, the Goblin King and The Man Who Fell To Earth.

Farewell Commander Bowie, you will be missed.

F**k just f**k. First Lemmy then Bowie. Mr Death finally get bored with Elvis did he? Decide to expend his musical tastes?
We're loosing some good people. People with a lot more in them. Movers and shakers....

Someone who really got SF tropes and used them to create some great songs. He'll be missed.

For the first time I cried today because of the passing of a great artist. Really strange because of course I didn't knew him personally. But he was an inspiration for me. I really appreciated his ability to always come up with something new.

"Can you hear me major Tom"
Thank you Mr Bowie for all the great songs and imaginative movies.

Good song writers are few and far between.

I haven't heard any really good stuff since that era
Or is that just my ears betraying my years.

The Man Who Fell To Earth..
Never did work out if he was a space man or a plain old nut job,
Or maybe he was a nut job from space?
Characters, Characters.

I've always had a soft spot for The Man Who Sold the World - a big hit for Lulu, of course, and Nirvana brought the magic to a new generation.
Thinking of Lulu, it's a shame he didn't pick Maggie Bell - that woman could really sing! Stone the Crows!

Although I listen to a lot of different genre in music, I have few 'favourite' artists. David Bowie was one of them.

As mentioned above, he really knew how to make his music new and edgy. As far as on-the-screen, I enjoyed his performance in Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence.

Rest in peace.
