Oolite Bulletins

I took off from Intiso with 2 tonnes of Platinum destined for Axebe and had an engine malfunction which landed me in Witch Space among a lot of Thargoids.

I didn't fancy a long fight so when one of them jumped out I followed through the Wormhole. When I arrived in normal space I was behind a strange ship which, when I targeted it was labelled Thargoid Warship (alien).

It did NOT look like the usual flying saucer alien ships. I only saw the back while blasting it it but, apart from the gaudy colours, it could have passed for a human ship.

I haven't ever seen one of these. Can anybody tell me what it was?

Must be an OXP ship, I'd think. Was it definitely a Thargoid Warship that jumped out?

There only seemed to be Thargoids in Witch Space. However this ship was flagged as a Thargoid warship AFTER I jumped into normal space.

I don't think core Thargoids can jump out, whereas other core ships can.
Which ship you were behind in normal space though I have no idea.

Is there a Thargoid ship which is not flying saycer shaped?

Otherwise this is going to be one of those once only occurrences.

Thargoid wars oxp enable Thargoid's saucers to jump out or was it in? At least they can follow you from interstellar to a star system, iirc.

It's really funny that there are so many OXP ships around, that some of them are actually seem to be "UFOs" - ships nobody has ever seen before.

Commander, were you transporting narcotics when you saw this "UFO"?
