Gonna play 1.65 again just to appreciate the huge changes that oxpers or ozers make.

Why do the snake thingys only ever appear on the far side of ooniverse, making it not worth chasing?
Or is that just in my ooniverse?

<grins> 1.65 was the first version I installed - such joy, that first night! The core game has improved somewhat since then!

Since you have the better graphics now, try getting Griff's Normalmapped Ships to replace the stock un-shadered ones.. that'll smack your gob all over again!
