I'm having a wee difficulty getting the radio to work.
Finger trouble. No doubt.
trouble is, Which finger?
I added The OXZER through the in game manager and checked, it is there.
Thanks to another Q. in BB I learned where to look.
But.. no sounds?
Shift to N then n to activate then b to toggle
Yup I know. But radio doesn't show as an item to activate on N?
Is it I'm still flying 1.80?
I didn't see that there was issue in any 'read me' notes in oo wiki.
Any help would be nice.
I love the sound of music while I play.

Shift N to cycle to Hyperradio and then b to play a tune. Don't need to push N to activate. I'm assuming you purchased a license? Do you have any music packs installed?

Ye have packs installed.
What's this licence thingy?
Is that like the TV tax thing the UK gov imposes on citizens for their pet station the BBC?
I didn't much worry about that when I lived in UK coz they produced some really brill shows like Doctor Who?
How do I get one? a licence that is. If it involves trasfer of real dosh I'll just delete the whole lot.

The license to use this OXP costs 1200 credits and is good for 20 days. At planets with confederacy or higher government types you can get an additional 20 days for 800 more credits. This is one of my favourite OXP's.

And if that seems like blatant highway robbery for such a short period (which it is!), you can easily change it.. for instance, I got sick of my hyperradio license expiring in the middle of tight-deadline cargo contracts, when renewing it was too expensive time-wise, so I changed the licensing period to 60 days instead. You can read about it in the OXP Tweaking thread
here.

I think I'll just add +1 to the timer code if I ever get the radio to work
