i once bought a CD of theirs because of the theme for "Charmed" ....

Very belatedly: I too like (most of the output of) The Smiths. I like some of it greatly. However - to move into, er, perhaps, Highlander / Queen's It's A Kind of Magic territory - surely only one person can be the totally [etc.]?

PS: My excuse for the pedantry above is that, like Morrissey, I spent much teenage time in the library.
