Missions and Trumbles

Hi all:

I'm beginning to get tired of the cargo and passenger runs and want to try a mission... but for starters I'd prefer a built-in one. Two questions:

A) Do I **need** to accept the Trumble mission when it's offered to me or will other missions naturally follow if I ignore the Trumble mission?
B) Assuming the above is "no" then how do I get the next/first "real" mission?

FWIW, I'm disappointed that the OOLITE wiki doesn't have a filter/sort set on standard vs OXP missions... just gotta slog thru them all (or at least those that don't say "OXP" in their title).

Thanks!

You don't need to do the Trumbles. It will be offered from time to time if you decline but has no baring on anything else.
The first 'native' mission will trigger in G1 (or sometimes 2) when you have a sufficient number of kills.

The five native missions are clearly marked as such on the Wiki [EliteWiki] Missions page.

Not to mention that they're the first five in the list, and the only ones without links attached.

I always thought the native missions were core generated? And therefore no need to be downloaded. Only included in the list as a description and level required to get them started.

The Trumbles mission should have been described as "An ongoing mission" Maybe even mandatory at least once
