Just in case you are interested, I wrote an article (preview) on the game and it was published today (just an hour ago) at
www.hookedgamers.com. I hope I did the game and all those who have worked on it, especially Giles, some good with that.

That's a fine review, Wormwood.
My only quibble would be that you have included a lot of OXP related material in your review and in the screenshots, but not stated that they are such - for example, you mention downgrading from Cobra Mk 3 to Mk 2, but don't mention that the Mk 2 is an OXP.
I love the Cobra Courier with the site's logo on it. Nice touch!!

One thing the article seems to lack is a hyperlink to aegidian.org so you can actually get the game
(Link to the wiki would be handy too).

I believe the correct term is “culling.”

Thanks for the feedback, commanders! Glad you liked it!
Tough not to write enthusiastically, when you are, in fact, enthusiastic!
I added a link to the text to the main Aegidian site and a note at the end that the screenies included stuff from expansion packs. Good catches both of them.
Um... I didn't purposefully kill the students... They just did not run out of the way when I came along...
Perhaps it is just for the best that they never graduated...
I made the Cobra Courier especially for the review, but I think I'll release it here (Oosat) as well - perhaps with the HG logo, perhaps with something else instead. It's basically a beefed-up Cobra Mk3, based on the Cobra3 Variant model at Witchspace. I thought the Supercobra went a bit too far into making the ship the best thing out there and thus I adjusted Cobra Courier only slightly higher up in the chain than Cobra 3 itself...
