Advanced Space Compass and Main Stations

Hello, i'm fairly new to Oolite, but the last two days I've noticed a possible bug in ASC or GRS Stations, I think. It happened, twice, in systems where there was a GRS buoy repair factory close (50km) to the Main Station, which was a Kiota Station, and not the more frequent Dodecahedron or Coriolis. The ASC would point to the GRS as if that was the Main Station (named "[system name] Station"), but docking instead at the nearby other station of course sets the record straight. "Welcome to Ororqu Station".

Most recent misdirection.

But you will no doubt argue, that I've way too many OXPs loaded, anyway (170), but that situation is not likely to change until I've decided which ones I don't like or perhaps don't need (because I've also another with the same/similar stuff, only more preferable), if any.

Totally different thing, I have a request: one can more or less direct ones ship to an object using ident key "r", but, as mentioned elsewhere, this gets tricky if one has a Telescope, since other objects may be chosen for reasons that are not yet clear to me. My greater problem with it is, though, that I have this magnificent Advanced Space Compass, which knows all my likely destinations, and their exact locations, could not it, by for instance pressing "x", simply direct the ship towards the target mentioned in the Compass? Or (also) by pressing "X", to the most centered human-build dockable destination in the crosshairs? So no planets or suns which happen to lie behind that object, or strange ships passing in the night? That would be ever so helpful.

This is moved from Oolite-PC as it is not a platform-specific related post. Also, by being posted originally there, it resurrected a six-year old topic, which is not really recommended. Therefore, it gets its own place in Discussion, seeing that it is not just a report of a possible bug, but also a request that can lead to further exchange of ideas and recommendations.

Yes, sorry, did a search for ASC looking for the Expansion pack section, but didn't pay enough attention to where it actually was.

Not on an aging laptop with what turns out to be a crappy GPU you don't. ;-)

That all depends on what the OXPs are.. my laptop is 8 years old, with a crappy GPU as well.. I just limit the eye-candy (which is what tends to be most GPU-heavy) to some extent.
