Oolite Bulletins

I reacently loaded V1.80 with a few extras.
Had a problem with the fuel injectors.
In some instances, usually the worst. When I cut the injector, I would be going instantly full injectors backwards. Just a bit dodgy when your trying to run away from a BBQ that has you on the menu.
In my case it was Military fuel injectors being a bit pro active in stopping.
But then I'm running ms Vista!

Also noticed:
My laser beams have disappeared. Effect and sound are fine. Must say didn't really notice at first.
Not even sure if I want them back? Though did spend some time quite a while back getting them a vivid neon blue.

I can assure you that Vista has nothing to do with any of this. I am running Vista too.

Can you be a bit more specific please? If effect and sound are fine, what is it exactly that has disappeared?

I (briefly) had this same issue and traced it back to the original version of Engine Trails mentioned in this thread: https://bb.oolite.space/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=17347. When the limit for entities was reached, lasers no longer appeared when fired, though they still seemed to work invisibly-- sound effects and damage to other ships. Once I stopped using Engine Trails, the problem vanished.

The visual of the laser colour.
The game play is excellent. Just one of they happy incedentals. Didn't notice till I thought about it.
There or not didn't detract from my enjoyment of playing.

ms Vista.. Pros an cons might not be be a BB discourse.
