Is it possible to use awardEquipment to give the player a new laser in the rear mount, during flight? For instance, if the player did not have any laser in their rear mount, could this be added while flying? Or is it a docked-only process? I see that "aftWeapon" is read/write, but is it feasible to write to it during flight?

Yup. These console commands were executed during flight with a new Jameson.
