Just wanted to let you know I'm still reading and enjoying the story. :-)

I don't suppose you have a floor plan handy for the snake charmer?

Thank you Neelix, That's very much appreciated! As a matter of fact I do have a rough floor plan. I will post it on the blog right now! };] I thought about doing that a while ago, but forgot about it!

Also posted a render of how I envisioned the bridge to look like.

Cheers! It's always nice to have a visual frame of reference. :-)

My pleasure! I wish I had the time to do a full 3D of the interior, but for now, I would rather write! };]

We also listened to the Milky Way Kid on hyper-radio.
Hey Pdx, thanks for the nod! We may all have different experiences in it, but it is after all, to my mind, one big Ooniverse!

You treat your characters with a lot of respect and is such a lovely way to save the universe, one scared and fragile soul at a time, with a lot left to the imagination

Thanks again for the journey, may it go on.

ps I will be a little quiet on the board for a few weeks - going on a journey of my own - a bit of time to muse over the lines of Nasca, then down the Inca trail to Machu Picchu to tick off one from the bucket list. So I'll have lots to catch up on when I get back :D

Way to go! Have fun! 8)
Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied

Thank you for providing me with the details to add to my story! };]

I see the titles are getting more and more cryptic. :D

Sweep stake:

Chapter 56 "Oodles of trans-galactic porking!"

LOL! There comes a time, when you just have to give up on the clever titles, and call a rock a rock.

Stepping aboard the Snake Charmer Diplomat Recus Vey, Sub-under chair person of the Lave Moral Decency Society was immediately caught off guard by heady aromas that enveloped her. "It's quite 'musky' in here isn't it?" She commented to the nice (if scantily clan) young lady that had escorted her on board.

She wasn't overly concerned. The poor dear must be catching her death of cold, she was practically dressed in rags. Recus knew that courier overheads were tight but still she would have a quiet word with the Captain. Anyway, it was going to be a long trip. She could knit her a nice long sweater onesie, cover up those child rearing sacks of hers. Most undignified for a professional space worker to have them flopping around all over the place.
