Oolite Bulletins

Had to restore my Win7 desktop from an image that I had created prior to installing Oolite. I reinstalled Oolite 177.1 and had saved everything in my AddOns folder and my commander oolite-save file. My status, credits & kill score are all good, but when I press Shift -n, I get the message, "no equipment can be primed". I had 3 OXPs that had to be primed, but mostly used the Cargo Spotter. I removed the Cargo Spotter OXP, edited my save commander file, then went to a Tech 12 planet. Placed the Cargo Spotter OXP back in the AddOns folder, then started Oolite and purchased the Cargo Spotter. I still get the message, "no equipment can be primed".

Any ideas where I messed up?

Have you checked your log? Amonst other things it will show which OXPs are installed - you can check if the game is seeing them. Post it here (between 'code' tags) if you are not sure, as there are dozens of keen and willing eyeballs around here.

Just to be clear.. you can still cycle between the different equipment ok?

A thought - other OXPs are working, yes? Or are you perhaps in strict mode?

Thanks for all the suggestions. Checked the log and found that several of my OXPs were corrupted(somehow during the copying to and from flash drives). Got the CargoSpotter working, but unable to locate the ReverseCommand OXP. The only link I can find(and it says it is for the OXP), takes me to the OXZ download. Anyone know where there may be another link for the ReverseCommand OXP, or could someone PM me & provide the zip file?

I think you mean [wiki]ReverseControl[/wiki], and all .oxz file is a zip file: you can rename to .zip, make a ReverseControl.oxp folder in your AddOns and unzip into.

Yes, ReverseControl. Did what you suggested - converted the OXZ to an OXP - worked great. Thanks

Well, some of them are 1.79+ only.. because they depend on features that 1.77.1 doesn't have. ReverseControl just happens to be one of several that will work with 1.77.1
