Carrier Market Screen

OOlite Reference Sheet says that in map mode ? calls Carrier Market Screen
What is it ? I can't understang what it does.
Another question - what are the space lanes for and how to see them all on the galaxy chart ?

I think you have an old version of the Oolite reference sheet. The contracts screen functionality, also known as carrier market, has been migrated to F4 - look for cargo contracts, passenger contracts and parcel contracts (the latter introduced in 1.77). The ? key does nothing unless you have Advanced Navigational Array (and are playing 1.79), when it allows you to toggle map modes.
The space lanes are a part of the OOniverse and you can see them using BGS and Snoopers OXPs together. At first, you will only be shown one of them, you can learn others via Snoopers.

What are the modes, that are toggled by ? key ?
All what I see is the different colors of points

The Oolite Reference Sheet needs updating, methinks - the '?' key now does
this (in 1.79).

They can also be seen on ClymAngus' excellent vector maps, found at the bottom of
this page of the Wiki.
