Ship handling

One thing i like about Vendetta Online (i know, it's a different kind of game) is the ability to have multiple ships docked in multiple systems, it's like having a car park. I solved the lack of it having multiple forked commanders but i always revert to play in the same one, obviously, for the kill rating.
Wouldn't it be nice to have the possibility to store multiple ships (maybe by paying a rent) on a system, so you wouldn't loose accessories and equipment. Moreover the legal status is tied to a ship and not a commander, as demonstrated by the escape capsule insurance gimmick.
Another thing i'd really like would be the possibility of naming ships.

Obviously that's just a suggestion, there's a lot of work to be done already, without this subtle stuff.

Alot of people have suggested a asteroid base where you could store multiple ships, as well as mine for things to sell, however this could take alot of new code.
