Oolite Bulletins

Premier Inn, Runger Lane South, Manchester Airport

After much deliberation, some collaborators on the Frontier Forums have proposed another gathering of us Elite fans in Manchester.

All are invited, all are welcome. This one at the moment is not a multimedia extravaganza to parallel LaveCon, but as it grows we're not sure yet what will happen. At the moment it's a group of us all getting together in the hotel bar and chewing the fat about the franchise we love and getting to know each other!

If you would like to come along attendance is free but we're tracking numbers and interest on eventbrite.

Accommodation is currently available at reasonable prices at the hotel mentioned above, and there is another Premier Inn across the road (Runger Lane North) but their rooms are a little more expensive. At the moment (July 11th) it's anywhere from £39 to £79

Myself and Mrs S are already booked into the Runger Lane South branch!

Where does it say it's an E:D thread? It's just 'Elite' as far as I can see.

If ED gets discussed, which it probably will, then fair do, but I'm sure there will be MUCH in the way of Elite, FFE and FE2 conversation. As well as non-Elite stuff as the evening rolls on.

OK, I've booked. Wanted to come to the last meet but had to work.

Just signed up for this via Eventbrite and just booked my hotel room - I've taken a punt and booked a non-refundable room (£35) - best hope MrsDaddyHoggy stays well!

I fear it's very unlikely. Manchester is more than 250 miles from me and would mean a whole weekend gone. Brownie points at an all time low at the moment and I can't really afford it either!
