NPC Ratings?

Is it possible to make an OXP that shows you a npc ship's rating along side their legal status? Does Oolite generate that data? I feel like it would add to the current depth of the game.
The game does not generate 'ratings' for NPCs.
However for default ships and those without an 'accuracy' key set in shipdata the accuracy range is -5 to +5 which is the equivalent of Harmless to Average. Some OXP NPCs will be considerably more skillful, though.
