Clumsy fingers on numeric keys, and a rating to be achieved. Time to research joystick reviews.
The Saitek X52 Flight Controller Joystick was the affordable 1st Choice @ £80 (reduced from £110). http://www.pcworld.co.uk/gbuk/pc-access ... 1-pdt.html
UK retail cocked-up supply though, so opted for a 'Low End' PC Pro Flight 2 Model No.: JS282 by Logic3. http://www.logic3.com/index.php/support ... w/id/2183/.
At £20 from the local computer shack, it's smooth, sensitive, robust, accurate and easy to set up. Works on Windows from 98 to 7. It has helped improve my game.
