to bother with "stupid" questions, but I really got a problem.
Sitting here in mainland China, I try to download e.g. The Assaisins Guild OXP,
but always access to box.com is blocked - like several other OXP´s stored there.
Funnily some OXP´s from BOX.com I can access !!!
Are there some othe backup servers where OXP´s are stored for download ?
I´d really appreciate some help,

Greetings, welcome and hello 
Sound like LittleBear's account has reached its monthly download allowance. Personally I don't have an up to date copy to offer, but if all else fails if you wait until the start of next month then they should become available again (until they hit the download limit again - the curse of being popular 
). Or someone else who's a bit more organised might be able to offer a shorter-term alternative.

Doesn't look like that's it.. both the 1.3 version and the 1.3.3 bugfix version downloaded fine for me just now.. maybe the Great Bamboo Firewall is to blame.

Thanks a lot mate, did work perfectly - even without VPN - so the golden wall is not to blame....
Nevertheless the question if there is some other server (besides of box.com) where the OXP´s are mirrored ???

Well, the thing is, there's no "official" repository (or mirror) for OXPs. It's entirely up to the creator of each OXP where they wish to host them. Most use box.com, some use googledocs (particularly for very large OXPs), a few use other hosting services, and some are hosted on the author's own servers.
The majority are not mirrored anywhere, although often what happens if a particular OXP is unavailable for some reason (download limit exceeded, etc) is that one of the other members here will add it to their own hosting account, (again generally box.com) so as to keep it available until such time as the problem is resolved.
If there are others that are giving you problems, make a list and post it here, and I'll add them to my box account, as I noticed that you were able to successfully d/l Assassins from there a few minutes ago.
