The Gallifrey Connection?

Has anyone thought of integrating the Whoniverse into the Ooniverse?
I'd love to fly past the TARDIS or a Dalek saucer.
I'd also like to visit Gallifrey, Aridis or Skaro.
Imagine a Dalek saucer unleashing a plethora of Daleks - a la Thargoidlets... think of a hundred spacebound Daleks screaming "Exterminate!"
I know the Beeb are very proprietorial about their babies but heck... I see Babylon 5, ST:TOS, ST:TNG, Battlestar Galactica et al being used in Oolite so copyright doesn't seem to be much of a concern.
Perhaps the Doctor Who concept could be made into a mission?
It's just a suggestion... and yes I understand that it's easy to come up with loopy ideas but someone has to do the clever stuff and realise the vision... so please be gentle with me!

Oh bugger... just goes to prove....
"for every good idea there is someone who has already thought of it!"
Thank you sir - I shall import the OXP immediately.
It still beggars the question about whether we could see Dalek Saucers discharging Daleks like the Thargoidlets? What about planet Gallifrey, Iridis or Skaro?

Just change the models in the game - design Dalek ships and replace the models in Oolite with the new Dalek ones.
It would be a great introduction to OXP creation for you!

Heheheheeeee.....
With my intellect? Some hope...
That reminds me of the "Monty Python" skit about Blue Peter.... "How To Do It"

All I have to do first is become a gynaecologist!
I am still trying to work out if I can repaint my "Caduceus Alpha" banana yellow!

Downloaded and installed it.... I still cannot see a TARDIS.
Yes I know I am being a total "Donna" but can you run that by me again?
Please?

Just launch from the station and wait a minute. You'll see it approaching. You have to look closely, though. It's not big.

But when I launch from the station all I hear is the controller telling me to get the heck out of the docking lane...
Bahhh... gimmee ten mins to back and play the game and then I'll tell you!

Then get the heck out of the docking lane.
You don't need to stop and wait right in front of the dock, you know. You're in a flying object. You can fly a few meters to one side.

Oh yeah... right... I have discovered this crazy new control called "YAW" with the < & > keys - I am sure they were never there in the Amstrad CPC version - so I will give that a go then.
Bye for now - gotta launch!

Oh FFS tell me more!
Yes of course I have got GIMP.
Either flame red or banana yellow - or a mixture of both...
Gimme a clue here!!!

Take a look in the Textures folder of your Caduceus OXP.. open the requisite texture in GIMP.. go nuts!
That's how I produced the custom paintjob you see on the Pitviper in my avatar.
(of course, if you want to make your ship unique in the game, there's a little more to it. See the
Pitviper thread for my solution)

Nah... I just want a banana-yellow or flame-red Caduceus Alpha.
This is possible within GIMP?
Hooray!!!
I will try to do it after I watch the latest episode of "Corrie" and then (partly) watch American Idle.
So you can change a ship's colour by fiddling around with it from within GIMP?
Xmas just came early!
